ROOST Rainey: A Luxurious 'Home Away From Home' in Austin's Soaring Skyline

Instructions

Austin, Texas, once a quiet hub known for its alternative music and art, has rapidly transformed into a prominent technology center, rivaling San Francisco's influence. This growth has led to the proliferation of towering skyscrapers in the city's downtown and the rejuvenated Rainey Street Historic District, nestled alongside the Colorado River (Lady Bird Lake).

Among these impressive new developments is the expansive Paseo luxury residential tower, a creation of LV Collective. This 48-story structure offers breathtaking city views and a wealth of amenities designed to keep residents engaged day and night. These features include a well-appointed club-style co-working area, a 12th-floor swimming pool accompanied by a bar and Mediterranean restaurant, and a fitness program featuring a high-rise yoga studio.

Guests at the 56-unit ROOST Rainey apartment hotel, strategically situated across four floors of the tower, have full access to all these facilities. The hotel provides fully furnished accommodations ranging from studios to spacious three-bedroom units, catering to both short-term and extended stays. Each apartment is thoughtfully equipped with a full-service kitchen, an in-unit washer and dryer, and Method Co.'s signature Bonavita coffee makers and Capresso grinders. This seamless integration blurs the lines between a traditional home and a hotel, offering unparalleled flexibility for work or leisure. Other ROOST locations can be found in major cities like Midtown Manhattan, Detroit, Cleveland, Tampa, Baltimore, and Washington D.C.

Randall Cook, Co-Founder and CEO of Method Co., expressed his enthusiasm for ROOST Rainey's launch, highlighting Austin as the ideal location for their first Texas property. He emphasized Method Co.'s commitment to creating beautifully designed, highly livable spaces that reflect their surroundings. Cook believes that with Paseo and the historic Rainey Street District as their backdrop, ROOST Rainey offers a hotel experience that genuinely captures Austin's vibrant spirit and energy.

To realize this vision of a porous, design-forward environment, Cook's team collaborated closely with ZZ Driggs, a brand specializing in sustainable interiors, and LV Collective. Together, they infused the public areas with rich textures, natural materials, and warm color palettes that subtly pay homage to the local history. Custom artwork by Alex Bodishbaugh seamlessly integrates these elements, creating a cohesive aesthetic. The short-stay residences, each uniquely designed, continue this approach with artisanal details, vintage rugs, and natural finishes that echo Austin's architectural heritage and the neighborhood's Mexican-American roots. Additional design elements include handcrafted and colored tiles, velvet and leather upholstery, white oak cabinetry, grey matte countertops, and distinctive pendant lamps. This meticulous curation strikes a balance between familiar comfort and architectonic precision, avoiding an overwhelming effect.

ROOST Rainey is available for approximately $215 per night, offering a distinct and luxurious "home away from home" experience within Austin's dynamic urban landscape. The thoughtfully designed spaces and comprehensive amenities cater to both temporary visitors and those seeking extended stays, providing a unique blend of comfort, style, and local charm.
